WELCOME TO DANGER SUN OVERHEAD
My husband, Rohan Crotty, unfortunately, lost his battle with melanoma in July 2009 at the age of 43.
I want to share our story because most melanomas can be prevented if people have access to education and awareness about skin cancer.

OUR TESTIMONIALS
What The People Say
Following your presentation at our Lytton Road project yesterday, the response from the workers has been incredible. I’ve had grown men telling me how moved they were by your presentation, the question “where is the sun screen Neil” is nonstop, 8 have told me that they are booking an appointment, in general the majority are talking about skin cancer ….. well done to you.
As a result, I have contacted local skin care doctors (using the recommended website) and may have found one that is willing to bulk bill the first consultation for our workers on site. Our Project Manager Roger has agreed to allow the workers the time off to attend for a skin check. So hopefully next week we will start seeing our site workers having skin checks.
Without you this would never had occurred.
Keep up the good fight.
Excellent presentation should be held everywhere in workplaces, and in schools particularly.
Very informative and opened my eyes. Delivery of toolbox was very effective. Made me think. I am getting a skin check even though my score is low.
Jo, I think you have hit this workshop out of the ball park. Great job!
